And these calories are equal to a run for 20 mins on the treadmill that too at an average speed. Imagine having 2-3 spoons in a day along with your other foods. At least for a person who is trying to lose weight, this might not be such a great option when compared to having a fruit.
Another important and basic classification of body types is the somatotypes – endomorph, ectomorph, and mesomorph. This classification is based on the composition of body fat, muscle mass, and bone.
Endomorph – This is the body type that has a higher amount of body fat. People with this type of body easily gain weight and have less muscle build. Their body is pear-shaped in general and they have a fairly average metabolic rate.
Ectomorph – This is the body type that is generally lean and long. People with this body type find it difficult to gain muscle and have a generally higher metabolic rate. These are the people who we look at and be like – where does all the food you eat go?
Mesomorph – This body type is generally the perfect one for muscle building and is well built. They have a very good metabolic rate and responsive muscle cells.

Not directly, but in some way, genetics plays a role in what body type we fit into and what foods suit our body. Although nowadays people are becoming part of multicultural life, they predominantly base their lifestyle and habits on their parents’ way of living. Especially conditions like diabetes, obesity, blood sugar, PCOS, etc. depending on the genetics and lifestyle choices combined.

A lot of people complain about the bland taste of salads or about the inclusion of Tofu not liked by many. This diet includes food widely eaten by many these days. It has a balanced menu of oily and baked food that makes it good for any body type.
We do not explicitly recommend this diet, but by far, it is the best diet that has ever existed. No, we are not saying that because it allows a little bit of alcohol, but because of the variety of nutrients it touches and the flavors it offers.
Plus it also has your favorite lasagnas, garlic bread, and wine! Just kidding, you cannot lose weight by hogging these. You always have to maintain a limit for yourself based on your body type and your body fat content to stay healthy.
The bottom line here is that each body is differently made based on heredity, body types, and their lifestyles. It all depends on your combination to choose a healthy diet. Three points to consider while you choose your diet – consult your dietician and don’t blindly go by the internet, practice mindful eating, and most importantly, balance your diet with working out accordingly.
